Phillips Industries hires new Director of Engineering

Phillips Industries announces it has hired Dave Lajeunesse as its new Director of Engineering.

Phillips Industries has hired Dave Lajeunesse as Director of Engineering. He will be responsible for all Phillips engineering protocol, research and development, and customer relationships. He has extensive experience in the commercial vehicle industry developing and executing projects for manufacturing and equipment processes, as well as product development. 
Lajeunesse’s background includes an overseas assignment in Japan where he developed expertise in continuous improvement processes using lean manufacturing and lean engineering strategies based on Toyota/World Class systems. Immediately prior to joining Phillips, Lajeunesse was Director, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Services for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC. Previous positions with Delphi Corporation, Packard Electric, where he spent 20+ years, included an Ex-Patriate assignment as Japan Engineering Manager in Tokyo. 
Lajeunesse received his Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is six-sigma green belt certified and continues his education through industry- and company-sponsored training programs. He and his wife, Loree, are relocating to Southern California where Phillips Industries is headquartered.
