SAKOR Technologies identifies potential partners through China trade mission

SAKOR recently participated in a trade mission which aided it in finding companies to partner with in order to grow its presence in China.

SAKOR Technologies Inc., a recognized leader in the implementation of instrumentation products for dynamometer testing, announces that it met its goals of identifying potential trading partners and customers during the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) China Trade Mission 2015. The trade mission took place in and around Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai from August 22 to 30, 2015.

Randal Beattie, President of SAKOR, and Bob McFarland, SAKOR’s Director of Business Development, represented SAKOR on the trade mission and, through a series of meetings organized by the MEDC, identified four viable candidate companies to act as SAKOR’s trade partners for sales and after-sales support in China. These prospective partner companies represent a wide range of interests in the automotive, hybrid and electric vehicle, and alternative energy markets.

“We embarked on this trade mission with the goal of identifying one potential partner, and thanks to the tireless work of the MEDC to organize meetings prior to our arrival in China, we exceeded that goal,” Beattie says. “We made invaluable connections with companies and individuals who would be excellent sales and technical support partners, and with potential customers.”

Beattie and McFarland will continue to develop relationships with the companies and individuals they met during this trade mission in the coming months as part of SAKOR’s continuing effort to increase its ability to export its high-quality products to growing industries in China.
