As the freight transportation industry gears up for 2015, FTR's macro-economy expert and senior consultant Bill Witte will review developments in the economy and discuss the economic outlook in 2015 during the complimentary State of Freight webinar scheduled for Thursday, January 8 at 11 a.m. EDT.
In this 30 minute webinar – moderated by Eric Starks, President of FTR – Witte will examine the major sectors of the economy and assess major risks to the outlook. He will explore not only the U.S. economy, but will also touch on topics such as the international sector and oil prices.
Witte comments, “The U.S. economy exits 2014 with the wind at its back. The question for 2015 is whether enough headwind or thunder storms will develop to break that momentum.”
