NUCA, the national trade association that represents underground utility construction and excavation contractors, announces that Komatsu America Corp. affirmed its role as a Silver National Partner of NUCA.
"Komatsu America is pleased to have supported NUCA for the past 27 years, and as a manufacturer of equipment used in utility construction and excavation, we understand the importance of strengthening that partnership with NUCA and its members," says Rod Schrader, CEO, Komatsu America Corp. "We applaud the leadership of NUCA and its contribution toward recognition of underground utility systems and facilities as vital national assets. And we particularly support its goal of confirming that those who build and maintain these systems have the public's confidence and respect."
The objectives of NUCA are to advance the operational proficiency and financial performance of its member companies by focusing on shared industry issues. NUCA membership delivers services to those engaged in excavation, site preparation, earth moving and the construction and/or rehabilitation of utility systems.
"Our involvement with NUCA is invaluable in helping us better understand the business and challenges faced by utility contractors," Schrader continues. "Komatsu's customer-centric commitment is to produce and deliver machines that support our customers' evolving business needs. Our industry-setting technology like KOMTRAX fleet monitoring system and our new No Idling program are examples of how Komatsu helps our customers lower costs while improving their experience. We welcome the opportunity to meet with many NUCA members at the 2013 Convention in Phoenix this coming February."
"Komatsu America's support of NUCA helps strengthen our industry," says Bill Hillman, CEO of NUCA. "The commitment of our national partners, like Komatsu, is invaluable to making our organization stronger, and our voices heard."
