For 2019, Exmark is expanding its popular Radius line of zero-turn riding mowers to include a new 44-in. Radius E-Series model. The compact new machine offers increased maneuverability and operator comfort, with the cut quality, productivity and long-term value that Exmark owners expect.
According to Exmark Product Manager Mike Mayfield, the 44-in. Radius E-Series model offers landscape professionals and homeowners a smaller, more nimble mower that’s ideal for landscaped yards, where maneuverability is at a premium.
“The compact size of this new Radius model is easier to handle in tighter confines of small or highly-landscaped properties. Its versatility makes the 44-in. Radius E-Series well suited for a wide range of commercial and residential mowing needs.”
As Exmark’s most affordable Radius model, the 44-in. Radius E-Series machine includes a 5-in. deep UltraCut Series 3 cutting deck. Fully fabricated and welded from high-strength steel, the two-blade UltraCut Series 3 cutting deck features large-diameter, no maintenance, sealed bearing blade spindle housings. Additionally, Exmark’s exclusive flow-control baffles provide an unmatched quality of cut.
Radius models feature a heavy-duty unibody frame that’s fabricated from 2-inch. by 3-in. rectangular steel tubing for maximum durability and strength. The frame design places the heaviest components, including the engine, fuel tank and hydro drive system, lower in the frame for increased stability and traction, with improved weight balance and maneuverability.
Designed to improve ergonomics and deliver superior operator comfort, Radius models feature an isolated floor pan, which reduces vibration and bumps felt by the operator compared to standard flip-up foot rests. The floor pan is also removeable, which provides easy access to deck drive components for maintenance or service.
The 44-in. Radius E-Series model features proven integrated Hydro-Gear transmissions that deliver maximum durability, smooth control and forward speeds of up to 7 mph. The Exmark 702 V-Twin engine delivers the power and torque needed to make quick work of big mowing jobs. Features of the Exmark engine include a dual-barrel carburetor, cast iron cylinder liners and a quick-drain oil hose for tools-free oil changes.

The 44-in. Radius E-Series mower joins Exmark’s existing 48-, 52- and 60-in. Radius E-Series models. Exmark also offers Radius S-Series suspension platform models in side- and rear-discharge configurations, and Radius X-Series models in a choice of 48-, 52- and 60-in. cut widths.
