Kobelco Europe Re-Launching Excavator Models to Meet Stage V

Several of the company's smallest excavators have been relaunched to ensure compliance with Stage V emissions regulations.

In preparation for the next stage of the EU emission standards, which come into force in 2019 and 2020, Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (KCME) is relaunching a number of its smallest excavators. The Kobelco SK08-2E, SK10SR-2E, SK18-1E, SK22-1E, SK25SR-6E, SK26-1E, SK28SR-6E, SK30SR-6E and SK35SR-6E are now fully-compliant with Stage V emissions regulations, while the SK17SR-3 is expected to be upgraded in April 2019. 

Kobelco is renowned as a leading manufacturer of excavators from 1 t up to 90 t and is particularly dedicated to the development of its heavy and mini excavator lineups. Many of the smallest machines in the range feature the same technologies as the heavier equipment, such as an innovative noise and dust reduction cooling system (iNDr technology),and advanced hydraulic circuitry for power and superior fuel efficiency. However Kobelco is equally as committed to reducing its environmental footprint, which is why it is leading the way when it comes to ensuring its machinery is Stage V compliant at the earliest possible opportunity. 

The Kobelco SK08-2E, SK10SR-2E, SK18-1E, SK25SR-6E, SK28SR-6E, SK30SR-6E and SK35SR-6E mini excavators can all be found on KCME’s stand FN. 1016 at bauma 2019 alongside the SK17SR-3,SK45SRX-6 and SK55SRX-6 as well as several heavier machines.
