ASM Sensors introduces its high-accuracy inclination sensor positilt PTM29 which can be used in place of rotary sensors.

- Linearity deviation of 0.05 degrees and a resolution of 0.001 degree in the 360-degree measuring range

- Shock and vibration resistant, and is also resistant to contamination
- Totally sealed, laser welded and hermetically sealed stainless steel housing
- Sensor electronics are completely encapsulated
- Cable area has special protection to prevent capillary water ingress along the cable
- Compact sensor size (10 x 50 mm/0.4 x 2 in.) allows installation even in tight spaces
- Achieves protection class IP67/69 and is shielded against electromagnetic interference
- Can be mounted with free alignment of the measuring axes
- Can be used in place of rotation angle sensors, as neither a shaft nor a magnet is required
- Available with digital (CANopen, CAN SAE J1939) and analogue outputs
- Available in identical sensor housing using gyro-compensated MEMS technology for dynamic applications
