The IMS365R is a safe inertial measurement unit (IMU) for mobile machines. Certified according to SIL2 and PLd, the inclinometer IMS365R provides reliable and safe inclination values even in safety-critical applications.
The sensor is ideally suited for dynamic applications due to the integrated acceleration sensor and gyroscope. With the innovative sensor-fusion algorithm, external accelerations such as vibrations and shocks are compensated and reliable inclination values are provided.
In addition to the 360-degree inclination measurement in all three spatial axes, the Euler angle, such as pitch and roll, is measured. Its high degree of protection, robust housing and E1 approval (UN ECE R10) make it ideally suited for use in commercial vehicles.
