MTU's MT 881 Eight-Cylinder Diesel Engine was designed to provide the performance power necessary for heavy military vehicles.

  • Offers a power range of 735 kW (1000hp) at 2700 rpm
  • Utilizes a single stage turbocharger
  • Provides a maximum torque of 3030 Nm (2235 ft lbs.) at 2000 rpm
  • Features a common rail or pump-line injection method
  • Operates under ambient temperature conditions of -46 C, under -20 C oil must be preheated
