Manitowoc Cranes launched a new Brazilian Portuguese website in support of one of the fastest growing construction markets. The new website provides company information, crane specifications and other resources for customers and potential customers in their native language.
Bruce Buchan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Manitowoc in Latin America, says the new website is part of Manitowoc’s philosophy of local support and manufacturing.
“Manitowoc’s local knowledge and expertise is more than sales and support organizations,” he says. “Brazil is one of the fastest growing regions for Manitowoc, and we are committed to serving our customers in that region.”
Earlier this year, Manitowoc also announced plans to build a 25,000 m2 factory in the southern part of Brazil that will manufacture Grove mobile hydraulic cranes. In addition, Manitowoc has significant sales and Manitowoc Crane Care support organizations located in Sao Paulo.
