SDLG launched its biggest ever motor grader – the G9260 – at bauma China 2016, the country’s most influential construction trade fair. The new addition to SDLG’s motor grader family further strengthens the brand’s product portfolio and its position in the Chinese market.
The new G9260 motor grader was the star of bauma China 2016 for SDLG, the construction brand produced by leading Chinese equipment manufacture, Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co. Ltd (known as Lingong). The new model – which is SDLG’s biggest ever motor grader – was on display alongside a range of the brand’s best-selling excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders, road rollers and backhoe loaders.
Speaking at SDLG’s international press conference and the G9260 product launch on Tuesday, November 22, Wang Zhizhong, board chairman of SDLG, reinforced the company’s commitment to providing better value and support to customers, while also highlighting SDLG’s development as a truly international company.

Versatile and productive
The G9260 provides enhanced grading performance and is ideal for use in mining and on large infrastructure projects. The new machine can handle a variety of tasks including land grading, ditching, bulldozing, slope scraping and snow removal work. It will be sold in China in early 2018.
Powered by a Tier 3 SD13 engine, the powerful and highly productive grader offers excellent performance in any terrain. The machine features optimized weight distribution, an impressive 136 kN of tractive force and is equipped with a hydraulically powered wet brake system. The electronically controlled diesel engine matches perfectly with the power shift transmission control valve and the mechanical transmission system, delivering optimum performance and fuel efficiency. The double fuel tanks in the G9260, the first of their kind in China, ensure high driving force and reliability. With a maximum cutting depth of 825 mm, the blade of the grader is 4.27 m wide and the cutter diameter is 1,626 mm. The G9260 has a forward and reverse speed of 44.2 km/h and 31.8 km/h respectively.
The G9260 motor grader’s cab features the latest generation of operator safety and comfort, including a new falling-object and roll-over protection structure (FOPS/ROPS). The electric-hydraulic locking mechanism ensures safe and convenient operation.
