Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe N.V. (KCME) debuted its Kobelco SK140SRLC-7 to the European market at SaMoTer 2020, Italy's leading construction exhibition.

KCME says Italy is an important region for the company. As such, it continues to expand its presence across the country and bring more products to the market like the SK140SRLC-7 excavator.

Machines on display

The all-new SK140SRLC-7 is a new generation of short radius excavators that delivers enhanced efficiency and productivity and sets a new class-defining standard in operational use and operator comfort.

Other machines on display at the show included the next-generation Kobelco SK85MSR-7, which was launched at bauma 2019. This midi machine offers superior performance, greater efficiency and productivity with increased power and speed over the previous models, as well as one of the most sophisticated operator cabins in class.

The SK210SNLC-10 and SK240SN-10 excavators, which enjoy the same high performance, lifting capabilities and fuel economy as the conventional SK210LC-10 model, also benefit from a super-narrow undercarriage, which is ideal for customers in the Alpine region.

In addition, the Kobelco Electric PowerSK17 pilot machine, also first unveiled at bauma 2019, was exhibited at SaMoTer. While the 1.7 tonne excavator concept is still in development with German engine manufacturer, Deutz AG, Kobelco expects to launch the model to the European market in 2021.
