Novotechnik RFC4800 Series Touchless Angle Sensors

Novotechnik U.S. introduces the RFC4800 Series of touchless angle sensors measuring angular position up to 360 degrees, revolution counter and speed—without wear. 

• Features include programmable zero point offset, measurement averaging and sign of rotational direction
• Offers resolution of 14-bits across 360 degrees, repeatability of 0.36 degrees and independent linearity of ±0.5% of full scale 
• Includes IO-Link as digital interface, offering serial communication protocol which makes wiring easier, needing only three wires to simultaneously transmit measured values and status information
• Status bit can signal a controller if sensor needs replacement and controller can detect new device and automatically configure it based on stored values minimizing downtime
• Parameters such as zero point can be sent and programmed into sensor over this bus 
• Other output interfaces include analog voltage and current, as well as digital outputs options—SSI, SPI, incremental and CANopen
• Single and multi-channel versions are available
• Sealed up to IP69K
• Operating temperature range is -40-125 C (-40-257 F)
• Mean time to failure is 76 years
