Novotechnik RMB 3600 Series Absolute Multi-Turn Angle Sensors

Novotechnik U.S. introduces the RMB 3600 Series of absolute multi-turn angle sensors.

• Non-contact design
• Features galvanized steel housing and stainless steel shaft with up to 100 N working shaft load for HD version
• Sealed up to IP69K, depending on version
• Included enhanced giant magnetic resistance (EGMR)
• Counts turns even when power is removed, and retains turn count and angle information for years without power
• Does not require batteries
• Operating speed is up to 12,000 rpm
• Features 36.5 mm (1.4 in.) profile, count to 16 turns, angular position 0-5,760 degrees, resolution to 18-bit (SSI)/16-bit for other outputs, and repeatability of 0.5 degrees or better
• Offers typical independent linearity of  ±0.03% F.S. at 16 turns
• One and two channel versions are available
• Output options are 0.1-10V, 4-20 mA, and 10-90% of power supply and SSI
• Available in connector or cable versions as well as 5 and 24V supply models
• Operating temperature range is -30-85 C (-22-185 F) and 0-98% RH, non-condensing
• Withstands shock to 50 g and and vibration to 20 g
