SDF (formerly known as SAME DEUTZ-FAHR)
SDF (formerly known as SAME DEUTZ-FAHR) is one of the world's leading manufacturers of tractors, harvesting machines, engines and agricultural machines. It distributes products through the DEUTZ-FAHR, SAME, Lamborghini Trattori, Hürlimann, Grégoire and Lamborghini Green Pro brands.
The company has its head-quarters in North Italy, in Treviglio (BG), in an area where the business was established by the brothers Francesco and Eugenio Cassani in 1927 and developed from there on.
Production, sales, after-sales and the distribution of spare parts are overseen by seven production sites (in Europe and Asia), 12 sales subsidiaries (in Europe, Asia and North America), three joint ventures and commercial agreements (in Russia, Turkey and China), 141 importers and over 3,000 dealers around the globe. SAME DEUTZ-FAHR also uses diesel engines developed by Deutz AG.
The company's strategy is based on giving its production capacity an international slant, on expanding its sales network on key and emerging markets, on overseeing technological know-how, internally developing core components and offering an extensive product range.
