The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) has initiated a project to revise its operator manual standard for tractors, agriculture and forestry machinery, and powered lawn and garden equipment.
The revision to ASAE EP363.1, Technical Publications for Agricultural Equipment, will be a complete rewrite that will then be used as the proposed basis to update a corresponding international standard, ISO 3600:1996, Tractors, machinery for agriculture and forestry, powered lawn and garden equipment – Operator’s manuals – Content and presentation. The ISO document is out of date and contains much extraneous information.
