POSITAL has introduced versions of its TILTIX inclinometers with dynamic load compensation that can provide reliable tilt measurement for moving equipment.
- Uses combination of electro-mechanical gyroscopes and accelerometers to provide accurate measurements, even if subjected to strong accelerations
- Signals from gyroscopes are used to compensate for effects of acceleration
- Resolution 0.01 degree
- Accuracy 0.3 degrees, and 0.5 degrees during dynamic movements
- Can be used reliably on mobile equipment such as construction machinery, mining equipment, cranes and anywhere else where sudden movements, shocks and vibrations are likely to be encountered
- Covers full range of motions
- Optional output of acceleration and rate of rotation
- Features measurement range of +180 degrees around X-axis (pitch) and + 90 degrees around Y-axis (roll)
- CANopen communications interface is currently supported, with analog, SAE J-1939 and Modbus interfaces soon to be introduced
- Compact and robust die-cast housing with integrated T-coupler
- Temperature Range -40-85 C (-40-185 F)
- Protected up to IP69K
- Supply voltage of 10-30V
