Hydrogen’s power density and zero-emissions capabilities have made it an appealing alternative fuel choice for commercial vehicle applications.

Nikola Motor recently unveiled its Nikola Two, as well as the Nikola Tre for the European market.

Both vehicles use hydrogen fuel cells for operation.

Toyota and Kenworth have also unveiled their jointly developed hydrogen fuel cell electric heavy-duty trucks.

The FCET combines a Kenworth T680 Class 8 model with Toyota’s fuel cell electric technology.
