Technology News Tracker: New Technology Debuts at EIMA 2018

This year’s EIMA International featured numerous technology debuts for the agricultural industry.

Carraro Agritalia unveiled its Ibrido hybrid tractor powered by an internal combustion engine and electric motor.

New Holland Agriculture introduced several machines including its TH Series telehandlers with a new transmission for improved comfort, and two new models in its T6 tractor range.

Kohler debuted a hybrid energy module that generates power using a Stage V diesel engine and 48V electric motor to improve efficiency.

Hatz, meanwhile, introduced the New Silent Pack for its H-Series engines which provides sound insulation of over 60%, as well as rain and dirt protection.

In addition to exhibiting its range of Stage V engines, FPT launched a new telematics kit capable of storing engine parameters via the cloud.
